What sort of margins could they expect to make on this drill? Fuel and labour and bits are way down on the norm. Given it's unique capabilities you would think they would be able to pick and choose contracts and charge some sort of premium for their services and still be way under the next bid. If there is a next bid. I wonder rather then being taken over they might become the partially owned arm of one of the major drilling companies. Might they do a deal involving scrip and a global rollout? In the last annual report the top 20 owned 45% of the company and I doubt anyone will be selling in a hurry. I'd also be suprised if one of the majors didn't try and put their great hairy paw on this thing in some kind of way. Due to the CLRS, CKK have been talking to these guys for years so the wheels might well already be in motion. Swings and roundabouts - might we owe Nanne some thanks? IMO.DYOR.
