Benmoff, What happened is they drilled in to a gas zone and the well kicked, they stop ed drilling, and then closed the well in (shut pipe rams or annular) as the well would of had gas in it, they would of had to raise the mud WT up, this can take some time. Now while this was happening the sand and cuttings in the well would be falling to bottom, they then settle around the bit, and the BHA (bottom hale Assembly) Now you are STUCK!!!. If they had drilling jars in the string they could of jarred free under one hour. This is not uncommon, the good side is they hit gas. I hold AZZ, about 1000 short of a devoice. AZZ and GDN are much the same, but AZZ has loads of money and experience, I believe they will come good very soon.
