we don't need dividends at this time we need debt reduction and s/p value.
fmg is not a true div stock. it will be when it reduces its debt. so i think the div is just a bit of cream. But the real cream will be latter. people like to look at the investment price in the green so they have the feeling if they sell they gain. then latter they have both an investment in the green with income in cash. That is the game fmg have to play and they are doing that.
they are playing this low price game with good management objectives of reduction in costs and increase production. that is the formula for profit and further debt reduction. any one have a better idea for fmg management if so they should apply for a job there to shine. lol
