one could say something similar about the Libs though

both parties have problems --------------- in the changing era - Labors 'traditional ' base is evaporating as time moves towards non human labour
but, as time moves on ----- with change coming more and more rapidly and technology just racing ahead and will be changing at a blistering pace in a mere few years -
the Liberals have had their principle ground ripped from under them
a party CANNOT last without guiding principles - just not possible
both parties have huge tasks to basically be reborn -------------- I suggest that Labor are in front on that race - by many years
doesn't mean that they will have a well bred child in the end though - just means that they are off and running whilst the Libs are stuck in the headlights like the deer
