Mate don't mean to gang up on you here but @jantimot has been one of the few people who has always stuck to facts (with references), not speculation. As such IMO his comments actually contribute towards making a more informed decision (even if that decision means choosing to go against his views).

In saying this, just because his a HC moderator, it doesn't mean his comments have anymore weight than yours do. If you believe that anyone has said something which is in-correct, then by all mean provide some reference with an explanation to prove otherwise.

However jumping to conclusions (without knowing his actual role, which does not involve moderating these threads), as well as defamatory remarks and accusations just because he disagrees with you is really bad form. Aside from the fact that he has equally corrected down-rampers in the past to get the facts straight, its ridiculous to think that his comments are capable of manipulating the SP.

You're very quick to condem naysayers as down-rampers who are attempting to bring the SP down for their own gain, and in some cases it might be true....but fail to see the bigger danger of up-ramping all together. This is an anonymous forum for pooling opinions and sharing information, not a forum of financial advisors, and therefore all comments and credibility should be taken with a grain of salt. If you want to make a point try sticking to facts (ideally with references) instead of overreacting.
