Based on what the Roam-e is supposed to do, it is different. Although there are a lot of camera drones in the market, it is the first to attempt to bring facial (and potential object) recognition into the mix.

Whether they can successfully deliver this technology, and get it functioning as per the hype (let alone in a cost effective and timely manner) is the real question IMO. Problem with being the first to introduce something new (which hasn't been trialed and tested), is you face the most risk due to unforeseen challenges...something which I don't feel they have properly accounted for through the development process.
