That's pretty much an assumption for all drones due to the stabilisation technology. As they get closer to ground they will still stabilise in the horizontal plane, meaning they won't fair well on uneven ground landings.
The ones that would handle it best would be the drones with guarded propellers as thats the main breakable piece.
