grd needs to decide what it wants to do with its renewables business and do it.the engineering business is doing ok but is weighed down by the global renewables. they need a partner for the renewables or to sell it off.
the company is split in 2 different directions at the moment. The renewables business is a good idea but needs to be proven as a money maker.Eastern creek may be working to full capacity but needs to produce consistent income. They need more than just one such project in australia-is there any development in the offing. they are still tendering for projects in britain ,have they won any more?maybe they should look for a european partner.
perhaps we need some fresh faces on the board. The board turned down Transfield and the shareprice has gone backwards since. I consider my shares to be a long term hold. hopefully someone will come along who sees value in grd but will it be at the previous offer price/ I doubt it.
At least the major shareholders are still hanging in there.
