Never had a problem with paypal. Myer can't provide a transaction number or even a date of refund. what's the point of buying on line it you have to go to a store when they overcharge you! i wish i shared your confidence but i can imagine store staff we'll know what to do with online sales that never eventuated.
If there was a problem with PayPal then the onus is on Myer to sort it out, not the recipient of the refund. Just as it was my responsibility to make sure Myer received the money when i put the order in.
Anyway, i am confident PayPal will sort (they can deduct the money from myer when they see Myer written acknowledgement that refund is owed and they can also see that no refund has been made).
This is a system problem, not just one customer service person who has made an error, which is why i raise it here. I am sure i am not the only person being put through this!
