DOWs underperformance last night relative to the SP500 was mainly due to a poor performance from MCD which knocked 25 points off the DOW.
McDonald's [MCD 96.96 -3.22 (-3.21%) ] slumped after the fast-food giant posted a smaller-than-expected gain in February same-store sales, hurt by weakness in Europe, Asia/Pacific, the Middle East and Africa.
