I'll give them credit where credit is due.
I have heard back from them today telling me that they found out about Goldenstar wanting out at the last minute last week and worked hard to get them off the register without destroying the price. They helped sort out the exit friday and today. Goldenstar didn't tell them why and wouldn't engage with GL1 in good faith. Regardless, they are gone and hopefully that is the end.
Better them than anyone else tbh.
