One of the thoughts I had was that money is moving into the dividend stocks and will return to mining, resource and spec once they hit ex date. I too thought of dumping some of my portfolio, grabbing a 5% dividend. Wish I had considering my two largest holdings GL1 and GT1 have collapsed 30% + in 2 weeks off no negative news....
