people should be giving serious thought to possibility of a market correction some time in next 18 months.
stocks that have shown recent weak performance get sold first - so i think buying ccl on some notion of getting dividends over long term would be rash at this juncture - unless you just bottom drawer it.
even when i buy for long term i find it difficult to look at a stock price 30% below where i bought its and so at a much higher entry yield.
that said, i think buying in just ahead of the monster beverage portfolio coming into ccl's armory would make sense for a long term player - but that is still some time away.
ccl will probably show some short term strength for however long this current optimism stays in ASX large cap stock prices - esp as CCL is the kind of stock wannabe warren buffet investors try buying - cept he wouldnt touch it at these pes - but its expensive on pe basis, still only midway through the Aussie market turnaround and has potential need to raise capital.
so i think i will tread warily for now
