Not sure how a few greens from beach side suburbs (democracy matters) and a media splinter (aka fitz) hoodwinked the state media into believing the state was going to fall apart because of stadium updates.
Disgraceful egotism to say the least and they were found out.
Mr Daley was also going to stop the beaches tunnel which would also have been travesty of justice. Basically zero infrastructure for this area (except for new hospital) in last few years.
The amount of stamp duty this area pumps out would pay for the tunnel in a few years. They cant keep sending all that money to western sydney as some sort of robin hood charity.
