media as a whole is interested in celebrities (and their non news) , losers and their hard luck stories, sensationalising everyday news with irrelevant and inaccurate trivia, and tearing down institutions and our leaders- there are a few exceptions

even the whole covid overreaction thing is a reflection of the shallowness of the media

with respect to ICAC -it is an institution that has a very poor record in terms of public lynchings -it has got many dozens completely wrong, many there was not enough gone wrong for criminal charges, and some right ( as in successful prosecutions)

Maguire seems to be a Con of sorts -so why would we take any notice of his so called evidence? Why would ICAC release private texts between them that really have nothing to do with corruption ( there may be a few that could be relevant) -and why, has it taken so long to come to light?? this stuff is at least 3 or 4 years old!!!!
