One point which I don't think has been raised is the possibility that Proteus could be connected to STO's Crown discovery in the adjacent block. The success of Proteus puts KAR firmly back in the equation for piped gas to Conoco's Bayu Undan/Darwin LNG project, where STO is also a partner.
