Not true dude. Your info is dated. Have heard of the accounting software Xero?. It definitely requires no infrastructure as it is based in the cloud. It is NOT binding to sign up, but most people don't appear to be jumping off. Also Xero now has 500+ add on partners which integrates with Xero and majority of them are also non binding monthly pay as go models. So you need to read up a bit more.
