    Yet another interesting solar innovation Rebel1.
    Solar is poo-pooed as not efficient enough yet for baseload power generation, but the advances keep coming don't they.
    From what I have read, heat is the major enemy of efficiency in current PV panels, so I am not sure if a glass sphere addresses that issue.
    There is a company called V3SOLAR who have developed a type of spinning array mechanism which appears to overcome the heat/efficiency issue.
