I've started writing my first novel. it will be a winner I am sure. It's theme revolves around a mad scientist who buys tenements of red dirt and sand, and in his garden shed he discovers the mystic basis for alchemy, he then converts his red dirt to gold, sells the gold, and buys an Island where there is no indigeonous population (the source of his frequent nightmares and insomnia). Alas when it rains, the gold converts back to a plain reddish substance and his customers get upset. But lo! the reddish substance is found to have magical fertility powers that turn common broad bean sprouts into massive vines that grow into the clouds...I haven't got my ending written yet..still waiting..oopps...I mean thinking about it.
I am lacking two things, a good title - any suggestion welcome - and two, a publisher prepared to take my IPO manuscript and turn it into a publically listed cash cow.
