Next week, political parties in Gld will discuss, at a seminar, the proposed 23/24 budget.
As the above post explains, one party, Naleraq, is "angry" at the draft budget.
While most recent complaints have, predictably, been about not enough money being allocated to welfare, at least one commentator has said that Gld needs to generate more income from the private sector.
So, the question is, will Erik (W.L.) Jensen of Siumut don a pair of Bigboy pants and demand IA approve ETM's application, or otherwise Siumut will abandon the Coalition?
Note the current state of the parties: anti-uranium IA (12 seats); pro or mainly pro-uranium Naleraq (4), Demokrat (3) Atassut (2), Siumut (10).
Last time I checked, 4 plus 3 plus 2 plus 10 equals 19 seats - a comfortable ruling majority.
