If any shareholders still believe in the management of Jonathon Downes then good luck to you!
He is treating his shareholders like Muppets, taking on Glencore without even asking or telling his shareholders why he is spending our cash just proves how arrogant this man is!
Glencore have spent mega dollars on the Citronen project so why doesn't JD want their representative on the board?
Is it because he is worried that if that were to occur that their rep would report back to the Glencore board what a crap job JD is doing?
There have been strong rumours for some considerable time now that the real reason that financing has stalled is that no one will finance the project with JD still in control! It would be nice to know the facts?
Average Joe does a great job in posting level headed commentary on this forum IMO.
I have held this stock for years and am sick to death of Jonathon Downes crapping on about finance being imminent, bloody hell he sounds like a broken record.
Holders only hope of making a dollar out of IBG is if JD is turfed out (as he want go unless he is given a mighty shove as he is on too good a wicket) and the board replaces him with someone capable of arranging a financing deal.
