The commodities giant is selling the Las Bambas copper project to a Chinese consortium.
Glencore Xstrata (Other OTC: GLCNF - news) has sealed a $5.85bn (£3.5bn) deal to sell its Las Bambas copper mine in Peru to China.
Now they have a bit of spare cash to buy BTR, own the whole zinc mine and get a potentially bigger copper mine for peanuts.
