I think it's a fair question given that generally the biggest chunk of new gold sold is for jewellery, and the pandemic has severely impacted that.......but in reality that is only a short term thing and it is ramping up again now, especially on the sub continent where gold jewellery is used mainly as a store of wealth and worn generally only on special occasions.
