BenPud,
"An interesting glimpse of what's possible for GMM today from newcomer PWN. SP up from 20.5c to 29c before closing at 25.5c on news of positive potash drilling results. "
PWN targets low grade sallow potash resource, you can have a look at GNI, "This tenement is near Watheroo, some
200 km north of Perth. It is believed that this area may have potential to host potash deposits contained
within glauconitic greensands." Very close to PWN's tenements.
GMM's potash potential is much much better than these 2 companies:
Large isolated salt water basin ?part of ancient ?Mongol-Okhotsk ocean?
?
Prospective Devonian evaporite sequence up to 600 m thick
?
Excellent geological conditions for:
?
bedded & domal(salt diapir) potash
?
potassium and lithium rich brines
?
Only cursory exploration to date at outcrops on the periphery of the basin
?
?Rock salt, soda ash & gypsum deposits discovered
Historical shallow high grade potash intersections
8
IMO, potash already in place (deposits discovered)
, for sure, if you look the picture of "Rock salt outcrop at Shuuden Uul salt diapir in Uvs Basin ~9 km W of Tuz-Tag deposit in Russia" you will confirm GMM's huge potential.
"The majority of the Company?s licences are centred on the north-west corner of the basin where heavy faulting has exposed the middle Devonian evaporite in several locations."
In the past we just drilled 100m, but GMM updated:
"These evaporites are usually subsequently buried beneath thick sedimentary cover with the majority of potash mines occurring at depths of between 400m and 1200m."
It's no doubt we will intercept Potash, I only worry about the grade and thickness.
