Was just doing some research on the Sonko acquisition and noticed that Gleneagle had made the same announcement in April but failed to proceed. Didin't seem to make much of a difference to their shareprice at the time. Reasoning for failure to proceed was a counterparty pulling out, which highlights the question as to value in the tenements.
Will be interesting to see whather this proceeds, I guess the big change since April is the Xstrata take over of Sphere.
Any thoughts on this appreciated.
