Forget Bronwyn and focus on Mal Brough who is very sharp operator and a genuine rising star of the Liberal Party. He will get the smart cards being proposed in on the basis of saving a potential +$2B in fraud pa.
Once everyone comes to understand the countless benefits of smart cards they'll look back on what use to happen....somewhat like the pre mobile phones days. If I have time I will post a simple list of identified benefits that ERG has provided from existing projects - both to govt and consumers. I'd hope this gets this forum discussing why players like ERG are the future.
