If we use the often quoted estimate of 63kg LCE for a 70kWh Tesla, then we are talking about 900 tonnes of LCE per GWh.
Now I’ve seen a few different numbers flying around for kg LCE for an EV battery; of course it depends on the battery size and who makes it to some degree..
I’d say it’s safe to assume around 700-900 t/GWh with the info that I have found over the years. Close enough imo.
