The roulette game is played by the mad Bowen who thinks we will be able to rely on renewables for 100% of our power requirements 100% of the time.
Wind doesn't blow endlessly; sunshine is not available every day; short lifetime batteries won't provide dependable power for many hours; renewable infrastructure subject to damage (Hail etc) and frequent repairs and maintenance.
Dutton has started what I always suggested, a conversation to fully examine the use of nuclear as a sound and reliable component of our energy grid.
Without fossil fuels, which the loony left and AGW catastrophists want to cease immediately, what other option is there for 24/7/365 reliable power in Oz?
Any ideas?
