That Al Gore era instrument was not designed to last this long into the solar solar cycle into solar minimum in the next year or two.  One might say that now it is starting to gather data that are 'inconvenient truths" about solar cycle impact on 'global warming"  oh, sorry... "climate change".   Anthropomorphic 'climate change' is just a theory. Not proven. But be careful what circles you mention that in, or you might be burnt at the stake figuratively for heresy.
