I'll call BS on that.
We can't afford a solar or wind powered grid unless we are happy for the lights to go out.
Replacing worn out panels/ inverters, wind turbines even 10 to 15 years is NOT a cost that the public want, when GST is at 15 to 20% & a 'special covid levy' for some.
Longevity/ reliablility & stability is not a strong point for green energy
