Please forgive my ignorance. I was curious as to who many of our world economies are in debt to? I would assume China is but one of the major creditors.

So, if the US can't pay there debt, then the guys they owe money too may then not be able to pay there debt, so they default also. Where's all the money gone?

I'm in IT, economics 101 ain't my strong suite.
