Note "newspapers" and "papers"! So implied is more than one writer.
That's the first point.

Yep they do. And I never said otherwise. But suggesting, as Victoria did in the post that by reporting on the IMF statement that it would be for the purpose of gaining readers or selling more papers, is nonsense.....with respect.
I would suggest to you for any media organization to ignore the story would be failing in their duty. It would be clearly in the public interest for us all to know what the IMF has to say about the global economy, agree or not.
I suspect, like so many others, Victoria and perhaps you has a vested interest in seeing such stories go unreported.
I wonder why?
