What are these four assays used for?

TNF
GM-CSF
IFN-y


I have been googling a fair bit and did find something around tuberculosis and IFN-y, that pointed out some Sensitivity, Specificity and Reproducibility problems

I was wondering if maybe biotech could comment on these types of assays and the utility of the examples???

Are these assays used much and are they a hard nut to crack?

Anyway in short, it appears to be more validated progress...........
