If the government's of each country can get together & make things easier for applicants of student visas this would help considerably. Hundreds of thousands of visas issued each year with the Australian government trying to get more student uptake since the covid issues. If it takes off to replace the downturn of Chinese students we had this could be massive. Students are allowed to even work prior to commencement of there studies. Over 40 hours per fortnight so this will help.
I guess there will be barriers, one of which cash will be needed to support the stay in Australia & this is where the loans come into play. This extended work hours in Aust for the applicants will help support themselves after. I noticed that even family members can apply to come here.
My only concern is this will take time to convince the Philipinos & needs support from their government. A big advertising campaign would be great to get it out there. Has to be a game changer for the poorer community in the Philipines.
Its not going to happen overnight but hopefully it will happen in a big way like the Chinese student intake.
I really can't understand how this has not made it as a Phil announcement.
