global food prices to soar

I am rapidly seeing events unfolding which should have everyone worried. The price of good high rainfall farmland is soaring. Today in our local paper it makes front page news. What has this got to do with us? If you couple this with increased costs of fertilizer, farm fuels especially diesel, increasing demand, diminishing high rain fall arable land, Bio Fuel production, and lower rain fall, we are at the beginning of a food price hike that will cause global unrest, add to a recession that will become a depression in 2012. You only have to look at what the drought in Aust and it's effect on wheat did to grain products in Europe and elsewhere.
