So why invest in a physical commodity that has so many governments around the working actively to distort the story? Wouldn't it make more sense to play grain or fertilizer where the governmental intervention in the market always results in inflation increasing for global commodity prices rather than deflation. Eg China's recent 30% export tarriff imposed on its fertilizer exports. Only results in inflation in the long run interfering in this way as investment in capacity disappears ...
