New to this stock but just some comments.
A good question would be how many units they placed in each store (probably three or four different stocking levels depending on store size). That would give an indication of expected sales.
The gross of $60 per store per week would appear to be very low to warrant the product being stocked.
I have dealt with large retail chains - none so big as Walmart though - and they can just as easily kill a small company as make it, paricularly if one is undercapitalized. They do suppliers no favours.
As for the comment regarding 2 years to get an order - that's not my experience. If the chain thinks its hot they do the opposite - demand early supply and exclusivity, at least initially.
It would be fascinating to get a look at the supplier contract - it might shock you regarding the terms these guys demand.
