"I see it all the time on the CVI threads (and others), where sanguine and pertinent comment is either ignored, denigrated, or quickly buried via new threads (or reactivating older threads), which are quickly filled to send the "offending" posts as far back in the list as posible."
What I would really like is for someone to argue with me... As I'm sure some others here do I post my ideas so other people have a chance to pick them apart and expose ay weakness in the idea that I have missed... If they try and fail it strengthens the idea if they try and succeed the idea needed testing anyway...
ignoring it alltogether seems to indicate the idea has so little merit it's not worth the time of thinking about it... or as you say a desire to see it buried...
Angry I find it hard to believe the Co. doesn't know what's going on either... though if the above theory is close to the truth I can understand why they wouldn't want to publicise it. It would undermine the plan... There are other scenarios under which I think the co has a moral obligation to it's shareholders to tell us... But there are a lot of unknowns here and MS is playing a very deeply layered game. Who can say for sure whether silence on the matter is to our benefit or otherwise... It could be hiding something sinister, it could be the lesser of two evils or it could be that the general does not want to give away the battleplan to the enemy...
End of the day we don't know... you either believe or you don't... it's a subjective call we all have to make for ourselves...
