global potash inventories rising

Its interesting looking at potash inventories in the US. Well above the 5 year average. Farmers are simply not buying and personally I tend to think while non US denominated prices hold firm, farmers will continue to run the gauntlet for at least another year in the hope that other more needy farmers whittle that expensive inventory away. May also get some loss taking on the retail front which could trigger demand but at this stage it is hard to see. Phosphate and nitrogen have a more compelling argument at the moment.
