    I regard my investment in RWD as an investment in future demand for potassium fertiliser exceeding supply and right now wish i had bought more.

    Potassium (chloride or sulphate) are both very soluble and don't hang around in the soil for long and thus need to be applied regularly. So any present surpluses in the supply chain could disappear rapidly - or else plant health will suffer and yields reduce.
