I have big amounts in USD and have started buying AUD at 0.82.Being in international business for 30 years and have never seen the drop in a currency like current fall in AUD..0.98 to 0.64 in a matter of weeks.

Mind you, the AUD at 0.98 was in La La land. The leverage in the Yen carry trades and international investment in the ASX are all being undone....this is going to take a while. I don't believe that the RB rate cut has much to do with the AUD decline. People (i.e. foreigners) all want their money back home. Everyone is rushing for the same exit at the same time.
