Global Tote - Like for Like Comparison, page-4

Not that good in my opinion.

On May 6 Global Tote covered Flemington and on May 13 they covered Doomben.

Comparing the two may be a bit like comparing apples to oranges. Flemington is a more prestigious track, but Doomben has it's carnival on and had a Group 1 plus some Group 2 and 3 races. I've compared Global Tote pools to the NSW TAB pools since NSW is the out-of-state tote for both meetings.

So you can see that on May 6, GT pools were about 6.05% the size of NSW TAB but on May 13 this percentage dropped to 3.23%.  If you use jr189 logic this is a drop of 46% from Week 1 to Week 2.

This is why I have gone a bit cold on them (among other reasons).  I am suspicious of the capital raising that occurred between Week 1 and Week 2.
