Mr Joey, just a bit of background for the meeting which might prove interesting to ask a question or two about:
I'm told that the campaign that this other shareholder (so called "marketing guru") developed for Asimwe had the communication objective of maximising Lindian's awareness around the world.
Now this was a seriously good, world class, 'breakthrough' campaign which according to a variety of industry experts (like senior people from Simon Moores' Benchmark Minerals) was "extremely good" and "unlike anything they had ever seen before in mining".
Rest assured that it would have had millions of people following Lindian (and specifically in the USA, UK, Europe, South Korea and Japan).
It took months to put together and finetune, and over this time, the association with Benchmark in particular, strengthened after weeks of video meetings with their executives in London, Tokyo, New York and Jakarta, such that they then offered Lindian a type of partnership to help promote Kangankunde as they became convinced that this giant resource could help the entire world (and the whole campaign including media cost about half a drill hole!).
Also, remember that Simon Moores is officially employed by both the US and UK govts to advise them on critical minerals and Benchmark are recognised as the world's leading, credible authority.
However, in order to meet the initial deadlines and because there were so few people working at Lindian, this put some pressure on the CEO who then apparently threatened to quit. In response Asimwe, literally at the 11th hour and 59 minutes pulled the plug on the whole campaign and then tried to tie up with legals etc.
Tier 1?
Such a shame because all the creative work was done with specific executions each tailored separately to the USA, Japan, UK, Europe etc. There was even one directed at Elon Musk about his comments of no longer using NdPr magnets in future Teslas!
Just one of the Benchmark privileges was a unique 4-page Lindian interview in their magazine which goes to 20,000 CEOs around the world (and there were many others....).
All gone!
Now, perhaps you can see why I've been banging on about how important a proper comms campaign is to rapidly increase exposure and awareness?
Moreover, I can absolutely 100% guarantee that we're NOT going to achieve anything like this with the current "world marketing" strategy of doing boring, workmanlike, corporate presentations, meetings and videos!
I know a hell of a lot more about this stuff than I do share trading etc. (as people on here keep delighting in pointing out), but I strongly believe that not doing this campaign (or one like it) has cost all us shareholders hundreds of millions (at least)?
