    Weather can be highly variable with the influence of mountains too.
    Having lived in Calgary Canada for many years I learned to accept what the day brings. I must admit that the warming Chinook was always welcome and produced an amazing skyline however it was a shock to the system when it suddenly disappeared.

    "Chinook winds have been observed to raise winter temperature, often from below -20°C (-4°F) to as high as 10-20°C (50-68°F) for a few hours or days, then temperatures plummet to their base levels."
