    The oceans have risen over 100 metres since the last ice age and probably at rates far greater than today. There was a vast melting of ice. So why didn't you get a heap of interruptions to the thermohaline circulation then?

    Billy, I think Bob Carter put forward the argument that it has done so a number of times in the video highlighted.
