    Rubbish because Sydney back in the 1950s would often get two weeks of temperatures on the old scale of over100F just before or after Christmas. When have we had that recently?
    People would walk the streets at night back then to try and cool off - no air conditioning as they waited for the Southerly buster to come through which would often be around midnight or a little after!
    So guess what it's actually cooler these days!
    Even a little observation might help you out rather than the crap you mostly post!
