Rudd, after campaigning strongly against Howard's global warming views is now backing down on his own hard line mantra. The Coalition desperate to look green and caring too have been suckers to this populist garbage.
As for Rudd...
"Kevin Rudd's homes are pumping out more emissions than the average suburban street," he said. "This is a classic case of hypocrisy from a man who a year ago said he could solve climate change by signing a piece of paper."
Experts said Mr Rudd could easily cut his household emissions by up to 70 per cent.
