Cougar, no matter what impact this strategy has, the wisdom of its implementation will always be very arguable AND I guess we'll never really know what would've happened without it. That's not to say that it won't prove to have been an absolutely worthless strategy. Time will indicate to some extent at least.
However, your willingness and eagerness to adopt the already 'tired' line about "..will all be put into poker machines" would seem to indicate that you really aren't too interested in making a calculated appraisal of the measure when the time does arrive to have a better idea on that.
