No. The big picture shows us the trend. The current warming is just the rise in temperature coming out of the last last mini-ice age (Maunder minimum 1645–1715). But the overall trend is still down since the Holocene maximum. The warmist's graphs never go back as far as the Holocene maximum and don't even go back as far as the medieval warm period (900–1300 AD) when Greenland was about as warm as the UK.

What we are experiencing now could be the last of the Holocene warm period because these inter-glacial periods have a habit of ending just as abruptly as they begin. The current Maunder minimum could very well push us over the edge as show by the chart below...
