I understand the north of Australia is getting wetter and the south is getting drier so by lumping all the stats together the picture is misleading.
Nice graph but how about looking at regions in Australia.
These charts also back up my own farm rainfall records in Northern NSW. My rainfall has increased by almost 100 mills a year since 1915. Yet even BOM are trying to tell us that rainfall is falling. They do that by only looking at 1970's to today. The 1970's was an extremely wet decade and nearly every decade since will be dryer.
